Delicious Breakfast
The breakfast at Villa Zurqui was fantastic! I appreciated that it was included in my stay and offered both American and local dishes. I particularly loved the traditional gallo pinto with fresh eggs and ripe plantains. Starting my day with such tasty food kept me energized for all my adventures in the beautiful natural surroundings.

Spacious & Comfortable
The bathroom in my room was quite spacious, which is a nice change compared to other places I've stayed. It had ample hot water, making showering an enjoyable experience after a day spent outdoors. The good towels added to the overall comfort!

Villa Zurqui is a hidden gem, nestled away from the hustle and bustle of Highway 32, featuring stunning grounds that feel like a little piece of paradise. The rooms are comfortable and come with essential amenities, though some might find them in need of updates. The service is top-notch with staff going out of their way to be accommodating. Dining is a real highlight, with delicious meals served at reasonable prices. While there are a few aspects that could use improvement, like the linens and room updates, I would definitely return, especially for the natural beauty and hospitality.

Villa Zurqui is a hidden gem, surrounded by stunning nature along a busy highway. The grounds are beautifully kept, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. However, the rooms could use some updating, and the dining experience, while adequate, didn't quite meet expectations. Overall, if you're looking to escape the norm and enjoy Costa Rica's beauty, this place is worth considering despite a few shortcomings.

The rooms were drafty and outdated, although the second room was better than the first. Poor lighting made them feel dark, and the bedding was quite worn.

Hotel Villa Zurqui surprised me with its beautiful grounds and accommodating staff. The variety of room types offers options, but some could use a bit of an update. The service was excellent, and the meals provided were quite good, while the linens and fireplace in the room left something to be desired. Overall, it's a nice place for nature lovers, especially birdwatchers, but be prepared for a few quirks.
Rooms

The rooms were clean and offered a cozy atmosphere, though some linens were thin and could be replaced. The fireplace was a nice touch, but it didn't really warm the room as much as I'd hoped.
